2008 40 Overs Competition

 

FSCL Member Clubs:

1) New Start Time: Please remember that all matches start at 10:30am for
the months of Jan/Feb. As discussed at the Captains/Manager’s meeting on
Jan 10, we will revisit the start time in our Feb general meeting to
determine if we will keep the 10:30am start time for the full year or
revert back to 11:00am start time in March.

2) Team Roster: Please complete the attached team roster form and submit
your list of 18 players for the 40 Overs competition. The deadline to
complete this roster form is 8pm, Thursday January 17.

3) Match Reports: We have made the visiting team responsible for faxing
the scoresheets to the league. Both team captains and both umpires have
to sign the scoresheet before submission to the league. So the new
process is:
A) Visiting team makes sure we have a completed scoresheet with all
names properly spelled and stats.
B) Both team captains sign scoresheet.
C) Both umpires sign scoresheet.
D) Scan and e-mail to s_mohamed@bellsouth.net or fax to (954) 964-9486.
E) FSCL will update the database and post match reports by mid week.
F) It is the responsibility of the opposing teams to verify the
information posted. Any discrepancies should be brought to the
committee’s notice immediately, so we can address.
G) Match Reports are due by noon on Tuesday after the match.
H) $10.00 fine for Match Reports submitted late.

We will monitor this process for a few weeks and make changes if
necessary.

FSCL 2008 Season

 

FSCL Member Clubs,
This is to remind all clubs that the deadline to renew your membership is December 28, 2007. If you have not renewed as yet, please contact our treasurer with your payment; Parmy Bhagwandin at 954.588.7253 or by email at pbhagwan@aol.com. Non-renewal by December 28, 2007 will result in automatic termination of membership and will require re-applying to the general membership for reinstatement.

Clubs that pay up their dues by the deadline, December 28, would have renewed its membership and are therefore eligible to the benefits and privileges of Full membership including, voting, insurance, and participation in various league competitions/activities. Clubs that did not pay their dues are no longer members, have given up any rights and privileges they may have had and must apply to the general membership for re-admittance.

FSCL 2008 Season

As mentioned in our last email, we are starting our 2008 season from this coming Sunday, January 13, 2008. We have a meeting with team captains/managers on Thursday, January 10. Please send your respective club representatives to this meeting.

A) If you are going south on 441,

B) If you are going north on 441,
make a left on NW 12 St, go 0.2 miles,

FSCL Youth Clinic

 

FSCL Member Clubs:

We would like to inform all clubs that we will kick-off the FSCL youth program this coming Saturday, February 23, at Brian Piccolo park. We invite all youngsters to register and join our youth program.

Venue: Brian Piccolo North

Date: Every Saturday starting February 23, 2008

Time: 9:30am

We have asked Wayne Ramnarine to coordinate the program logistics.
